During the selection and use of the submersible pump, the submersible pump should be correctly selected according to its own working conditions. When selecting the submersible pump, the flow rate, head and installation method should be considered. Only when the selected head is close to the actual required head, the pump In order to save energy, improper selection will have a great impact on the operation of the pump.

Reduce the pump flow and do not rise and do not drain, improve the rise of the submersible pump when working, the mechanical friction was too large, the submersible pump was damaged, the flow was too large, the motor was overloaded, long-term operation, the winding temperature rose, the insulation layer was aging, and the motor was burned out.

When many users choose a submersible pump, they usually think that they should choose a pump with a much higher lift than the actual working condition. In fact, this idea is wrong.

If the head of the selected pump differs by more than 10 meters from the actual working condition, it will cause the flow of the submersible pump to be too large, which will cause the motor to burn out for a long time, which should be noted.

What should I pay attention to when using a small submersible pump?

1. Install a leakage protector. The leakage protector is also called a life saver. Its function can be understood from the words "life saver". Since the submersible pump works underwater, it is easy to leak electricity, resulting in power failure and even electric shock accidents. If a leakage protector is installed, as long as the leakage value of the submersible pump exceeds the operating current value of the leakage protector (generally no more than 30mA), the leakage protector will cut off the power supply of the submersible pump to avoid leakage and waste of electric energy.

2. If the power supply voltage is abnormal, do not start the machine. Due to the long low-voltage power supply lines in rural areas, it is common for the voltage at the line terminals to be too low. When the phase voltage is lower than 198V and the line voltage is lower than 342V, the motor speed of the submersible pump will drop. When it is lower than 70% of the rated speed, the starting centrifugal switch will be closed, which will cause the starting winding to heat up for a long time and burn out the winding and capacitor. On the contrary, the high voltage will cause the motor to overheat and burn out the winding. Therefore, when the submersible pump is running, The operator should observe the voltage value of the power supply at any time. If it is lower than 10% of the rated voltage and higher than 10% of the rated voltage, the motor should be stopped, the cause should be found out, and the fault should be eliminated.

3. Avoid frequent switching, do not frequently switch the submersible pump, this is because backflow will occur when the electric pump stops running. If it is turned on immediately, it will start the motor load, resulting in excessive starting current and burning out the windings. Frequent starts can burn out the motor windings of the submersible pump.

4. In order to avoid long-term overload of the submersible pump, do not pump water with high sand content, and observe whether the current value is the value specified on the nameplate at any time. If the current is found to be too large, it should be stopped for inspection. Not too long, so as not to overheat the motor and burn out.

Okay, that's it for the editor. Thank you for watching. Let's see you next time.
